Frequently Asked Questions?
Where do you source your lumber?
I try to use local sources of lumber in Indiana and surrounding states. Aldridge Woodshop supports the ecological chain that supports healthy and smart practices in tree planting, growth, millwork, and restoration.
I also reach out to local individuals who make lumber slabs for themselves. These finds can result in very interesting pieces of lumber.
Do you use exotic wood types?
Yes, we have and will use them with special considerations. For Aldridge Woodshop, we will use these types of woods as long as they are not on any endangered species lists.
why are some products $0.00?
Products that are priced at $0.00 are custom orders which will require a consultation before a quote can be given for the product. Prices will vary with some selections like size, wood type, and or pattern complexity.
What is the return policy?
For all wood products, if there is minor damage found like a crack in the wood, a broken leg, separation of glued pieces, or warping of wood, please contact me. Most minor damages can be fixed at no charge!
For custom made products all sales are final. Because custom orders are made at the time of consultation, as long as the design was agreed upon and the product reflects such, no refunds can be granted.
